I just placed an order with Zuneta for some more Rouge Bunny Rouge products! I am addicted to this brand. It's expensive, so I have to plan my purchases carefully ... but heaven help me I love it!
In the meantime, I thought it was high time I reviewed my RBR When Birds Are Singing Long-lasting Eye Shadow in Delicate Hummingbird, which I purchased a couple of months ago. Here is a pic taken outside in daylight, no flash.
More details, photos, and swatches after the jump!
Delicate Hummingbird is a cool-toned taupey plum that reminds me somewhat of Chanel Taupe Grise, only more purple and with much more shimmer and dimension. It's a gorgeous shade.
In the photos it's coming across as more taupe and as having a silvery shimmer ... but in reality it is definitely purple and has silver and multi-colored reflections. The dimension is incredible and just can't come across in pictures; I get complements every time I wear this shade.
Here is a pic taken inside with flash:
As is typical of RBR shadows, the formula is very blendable and pigmented. I routinely get all-day (or evening) wear when I apply it with a primer underneath. When I remove it hours and hours later, it looks exactly the same as when I applied it.
Here are some swatches - outside in daylight without flash (top) and inside with flash (bottom):
If you are thinking about trying Rouge Bunny Rouge, I highly recommend starting with this product. You can't really go wrong with any of their eye shadows actually, but this is a universally flattering shade; it will make any eye color pop.
You can only order Rouge Bunny Rouge through Zuneta. They are a British website, and they ship worldwide. I talked more about Zuneta in this post. They are a great company!

I have and really like that shade as well, I think I could happily have every one of their shadows ;)
