Today I reluctantly present my first attempt at an Eye of the Day (EOTD), featuring the Rouge Bunny Rouge products used in the Nest of Plenty look.  Now let me just say, I got a little happy with the flash but given the cloudy weather today, it was the best pic of the lot; it shows the colors nicely.  They are slightly more reflective in this pic because of the shimmer reacting with the flash, but otherwise pretty accurate.  If anything, the colors are slightly darker and more blue/purple in real life.  Click to enlarge.

• Urban Decay 24/7 eyeline in Zero along the upper and lower waterline

So there it is.  Overall these are gorgeous products that are delightful to use, and I will have swatches of them soon.  For now, enjoy my rudimentary photography skillz!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation

I have been using Rouge Bunny Rouge Milk Aquarelle on and off for over a year now, more often in the colder weather. I mostly use tinted moisturizers (Laura Mercier or Rouge Bunny Rouge) or a very light foundation (Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua), but reach for foundations on days when I just need more coverage, or I am going out for the evening and want a more finished look. I have a few different foundations, but Milk Aquarelle is the one I come back to the most because of its lovely gel-cream texture, and the simple fact that after I remove it my skin feels softer, smoother, and more hydrated. It is my favorite special occasion foundation.

My latest order from Zuneta has arrived, and I couldn't be more thrilled!  I ordered three Rouge Bunny Rouge eye shadows: Electrifying Storm-Petrel, Solstice Halcyon, and Volcano Fairy-Wren.   I chose them because, after being inspired by Chanel and Chantecaille, I wanted to use them in some party looks for the upcoming season.  These stunning neutrals are wonderful additions to my collection.

Anyone who has spent any amount of time talking to me about cosmetics knows about my love affair with Rouge Bunny Rouge.  I have tried many of their products, and I have yet to be disappointed.  I had never seen one of their lip glosses, so I decided to give them a whirl.  I chose the shade I Have My Honey, which is a mauve-colored gloss with pinky-mauve opalescent shimmer.

Checking in and Current Favorites

It's been hectic in the Addicted household, as we recently learned we will be relocating from the Philadelphia, PA area to Seattle, WA.  This is very exciting, but there is a TON to do in the coming weeks!  For those who might not be familiar with the geography of the U.S., that's about a 3,000-mile move.  We're thrilled for this opportunity, but YIKES!

As I mentioned, posting will be sporadic, but there WILL be posting!  Please, hang in there with me :)

I have some pictures and swatches in my camera that I will get to soon, but in the meantime I thought I would talk about some of the products I'm loving right now.

Review: Rouge Bunny Rouge When Birds Are Singing Long-lasting Eye Shadow in Delicate Hummingbird

I just placed an order with Zuneta for some more Rouge Bunny Rouge products!  I am addicted to this brand.  It's expensive, so I have to plan my purchases carefully ... but heaven help me I love it!

In the meantime, I thought it was high time I reviewed my RBR When Birds Are Singing Long-lasting Eye Shadow in Delicate Hummingbird, which I purchased a couple of months ago.  Here is a pic taken outside in daylight, no flash.
