Naked 2 Palette in Sephora Stores Now

This weekend, I spied the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette in my local Sephora store.  It wasn't a hit for me, but I know many of you are eager to pick it up!

Guerlain Meteorites Cruel Gardenia Review, Swatches

Hello there!  I apologize for my absence for the past couple of weeks I had some last minute travel that came up, but I am getting back into the swing of things now.  It's good to be back!

When I first saw Guerlain's Cruel Gardenia Meteorites, I thought for sure it was mainly a cheek highlighter.  It looked so frosty in the pan, and less frosty but so shimmery when swatched, that it seemed impossible to use all over the face without looking a disco ball.  I am happy to report that this is not so.

Stop Internet Censorship

I had a review lined up for today, but instead to show my support for the cause I am posting this video which talks about SOPA/PIPA.  The awful truth is, under this dangerous legislation, blogs like mine and so many others (not to mention Facebook and Twitter) could be shut down at the drop of hat.  Please take a minute to watch the video, and let Congress know that you support a free and open Internet.

This Spring Burberry Beauty is releasing a new eye shadow shade called Pale Barley ($29), No.22 in their permanent lineup of Sheer Eyeshadows.  Pale Barley seems like a simple enough color, but it is actually difficult to describe.  No matter how you slice it, this is one gorgeous shadow!

I happened by the Burberry counter in my local Nordstrom the other day, and the MUA was testing out some new spring shades that had just arrived.  She didn't have much information about the collection as yet, but here is what I saw in person:


Four new Soft Satin Lip Cover lipsticks:


No. 27 Tulip Pink - a light nude pink
No. 28 Devon Sunset - a peach with hints of orange and pink
No. 29 Golden Peach - a bright coral peach
No. 30 Primrose Hill Pink - a bright coral pink

Chanel Spring 2012 and Knightsbridge Collections - Online

Chanel has put both the Spring 2012 and Knightsbridge Collections on the U.S. side of Chanel.com, but the items are listed as out of stock.  They should be available shortly!  They are showing as available, but when you try to check out they disappear from your cart.  Items that are not from either of the new collections work just fine.  Hopefully Chanel will fix this soon! Items are now available for purchase!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation

I have been using Rouge Bunny Rouge Milk Aquarelle on and off for over a year now, more often in the colder weather. I mostly use tinted moisturizers (Laura Mercier or Rouge Bunny Rouge) or a very light foundation (Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua), but reach for foundations on days when I just need more coverage, or I am going out for the evening and want a more finished look. I have a few different foundations, but Milk Aquarelle is the one I come back to the most because of its lovely gel-cream texture, and the simple fact that after I remove it my skin feels softer, smoother, and more hydrated. It is my favorite special occasion foundation.

Beyond the Looking Glass - Rouge Bunny Rouge Holiday 2011

Rouge Bunny Rouge has done it again with their Holiday 2011 look, Beyond the Looking Glass.  With the collection they have introduced two new Loose Glitter Pigments, Embrace of Cashmere and Caress of Mink.  You better believe I have already ordered them.

Preview: Balearic Love Collection - BECCA Cosmetics

I wanted to share some promotional images from Becca Cosmetics upcoming Winter 2011 Collection called Balearic Love.  I got them from Becca's Hong Kong Facebook page - I don't know exactly when the collection is coming to the U.S. or how much the products will be, but I am working on getting that info.  I know that it will be out this month (December) in both the U.S. and the U.K., so it should be available soon from our friends at Zuneta who now offer super affordable shipping rates worldwide.
